Filerimos, above Ialysos.
Terra Ventura Villa is on Filerimos Hill in Ialysos, on the western side of Rhodes. It is a setting that lends itself to a varied holiday: time in the gardens, a visit to the hilltop and a day exploring the island’s historic capital.
Filerimos is the site of the ancient acropolis of Ialysos. The archaeological area brings together ancient remains and medieval buildings, including the Monastery of the Virgin Mary. The path known as the Way of Golgotha leads towards the large cross and views across northwestern Rhodes.
Make this a separate outing rather than a stop squeezed between other plans. Check the official visitor information below for current admission details, then leave time to enjoy the setting at your own pace.

The coast around Ialysos.
The Ialysos and Ixia coastline offers a different side of the island from the hill. Ialysos beach has a mixture of sand and pebbles, and the western coast is known for windsurfing. A breezy afternoon can be part of its appeal, particularly if your group enjoys watching activity on the water.
For a family beach day, choose your spot according to the conditions that day and the swimmers in your group. Keep the plan flexible: a visit to the coast can be followed by lunch out or an afternoon back in the villa’s private gardens.

A day in Rhodes Old Town.
The Medieval City of Rhodes has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1988. The Street of the Knights, the Palace of the Grand Master and the former hospital are among its defining landmarks. Its buildings also reflect later Ottoman and Italian chapters of the city’s history.
Choose one main visit and give the rest of the day to walking through the streets, finding a place for lunch and following whatever catches your interest. With a larger group, agree a meeting point before everyone sets off. Comfortable footwear and an unhurried schedule make the outing easier to share.
Two days, with room to pause.
First day: Filerimos and Ialysos
Start with a visit to Filerimos, then decide whether to spend more time in Ialysos or head towards the coast. Keep the later part of the day open for the gardens and outdoor dining at the villa.
Second day: the medieval city
Set aside a day for Rhodes Old Town. Pick a landmark that suits the group, add a relaxed meal and return when you are ready. These are suggested plans to adapt around your arrival, interests and the weather.
A base for family and friends.
The villa accommodates up to 12 guests plus one additional infant across five bedrooms. Children of all ages are welcome, and private parking is available at the property.
Check-in is after 15:00 and check-out is before 11:00. Take those times into account when planning your first and last days. Between outings, the private gardens and outdoor jacuzzi give your group space to enjoy time together at the villa.
